                                                              SARKODIE
The SarkNation crooner is on news recently. Currently one of Ghana's biggest hip hop artiste. Sarkodie say that 'New Guy" label is one of his biggest records so far in the music industry. All over the social media and even offline, his news is everywhere.
           LORD KENYA                                                                                                SARKODIE
It is on this success that Lord Kenya say that Sarkodie is a braggart and not the best rapper in Ghana. He claims Sarkpdie does not have enough albums to his credit to be the best rapper in Ghana. "You don't become the best rapper in one year" Lord Kenya claims it takes many years of hard work. Must everyone take that long to excel?
Sarkodie is a Ghananian hip hop star, who went through so much to get to where he is today. Born as Micheal Owusu Addo. Early in his carrier he noted the fact that he was greatly taken advantage of.  The organizers of events did not think he deserves to be paid for his performances. They gave him just T'shirts  and toffees instead of cash, he almost stopped his career as a rapper, but he pressed on.
Sarkodie has this to say, "I still hold on to the dream. Though at a point I nearly stopped rapping. I am not sure I would be here if I listened to people's opinion." Today he is known as one of Africa's greatest hip hop artiste. MTV ranks him as No 6 hottest African MC in 2014. He is the first Ghanaian rapper to bring home a Bet Award. In 2013, Lynx TV pointed him out as the No 1 on their list of the top ten Ghanaian rappers of all time. Then in 2015, AfricanRanking.com, ranked him as N0 3 on their list of the top 10 African Rappers of 2015. Also that same year, Guardian named him of top five hip hop acts on the African continent.
Sarkodie has grown to even owning his own clothesline. You see him constantly dressed in his cloth-line designs called Sark*. It is true that success journey is not instant, but someone's long patience can be rewarded in a jiffy. Let's just say Sarkodie is in the middle of his reward! What do you think?
