Wow! Yemi Alade is the new brand ambassador for this year's edition of the African Fashion week in London. Yemi will work with the organizers of AFWN to raise awareness on the need for Nigerians to patronize Nigerian and African designs.

  African Fashion Week. in London is the biggest African - inspired fashion event in Europe. It has been on for five years. It is also one of the biggest fashion runaway in Nigeria though it was lunched just may 2014.
   Our very own Yemi Alade, is very excited because it is an opportunity to show everyone who truly is. She has been working on her own collections and did not see this opportunity coming for her. So, for this she is excited and grateful. Say congratulations to the Johnny crooner. This is amazing.

On news right now is the fact that Tiwa's husband almost committed suicide this yesterday 28 April 2016 base on the fact that his marriage is clashing. While we are wondering how is Jay'z doing about reports from Lemonade, Here in Nigeria, we are wondering how is TeeBillz doing over suicide attempt.. Well, whatever the case is, we wish him a quick recovery.

                                         PRINCE - LIES IN THE NEWS OF HIS DEATH

It is right now in the news that Prince died of AIDS. and that he contacted the disease in the 90s when his sex life was at a very high rate. He was diagnosed with it two six months back and even though this sex symbol was aware he was going to die, refused medical treatment because of his religious believes that God is Able to heal him!... According to news reports. According to this same reports, he was a Jehovah's Witness!

  1. If you truly know Jehovah's Witnesses, you will know they don't believe in miracles! Infarct they don't   want to be prayed for by anyone.
  2. Can a man love sex more than his own life? Not to treat his disease?
  3. AIDS since the 90's, showing up in the elevator as first attack and resulting to Death!
  4. The blogs that reported this two weeks before his death did not mention his name, what were they afraid off? What fear transcends the desire to save a life?

Talking about good news! Our dear AFRICAN QUEEN crooner 2Baba,(  +2face idibia (fan page)  ) bags endorsement deal with Campari. 2Baba is one of Africa's most talented hip hop artiste. A song writer, A multi-award winner and Hypertek boss.

At the Nigerian Entertainment Conference,on April 20th, the Campari Company boss made the announcement that 2Baba is the new African  Ambassador for Campari. It is a great thing that companies in Africa are beginning  to right credit to African artistes.
Over the years, The Company has endorsed other foreign artistes as their brand ambassador; but have now come to the realization that African Celebrities should have such endorsements.

Just as we say hello to the new Campari ambassador 2Face Idibia, His wife Annie steps in with Slim Tea endorsement deal! She says " I am happy to be associated with the brand called SLIM TEA. Through this partnership, I'm looking forward to helping many women on weight loss journey".

                                       Papa Wemba, The Great Music Icon Of Africa Rests.

Papa Wemba age 66 just passed on. Reports says he slumped on stage behind a group of dancers while performing. It was said that, he took ill early Sunday morning and thought it was a slight problem. No one can define the cause of his illness. Investigations are currently going on. Lot's of African stars have expressed their grief.

He is one of the great artiste who pioneered change in the African Music Industry. Bringing forth a blend of African, Cuban and Western sounds. In Africa, he could be likened to the likes of Fela Kuti of Nigeria. He has greatly toured around the world. A well known African Legend. Born June 1949 as Shungu Wembadio Pene Kinkumba and passed on April 24 2016. Started his music carrier from his local church choir. With his band together they grew to bring forth hits after hits until Wemba is known all around the world. He has appeared in feature films, 'Life Is Beautiful' (1987) and 'Wild Games' (1917). He has influenced fashion in Africa in many ways as a style Icon. He also had his shares of storms that landed him in prison once or twice.

 Prince Rogers Nelson, popularly called Prince in the entertainment world worldwide, Born June 7 1958, passed on this April 21 2016. This great prince is a song writer, singer, producer, actor, one-man studio band and consummate show man. His death was confirmed though investigations are still going on to reveal the cause of his death. He was found dead in the elevator at his house. The emergency medical call was made at about 9:43 am. When the emergency medical workers came and attempted to provide life saving CPR at about 10:am, it was too late. He has passed on and was pronounced dead.

They gave him just T'shirts  and toffees instead of cash, he almost stopped his career as a rapper, but he pressed on.
             Sarkodie has this to say, "I still hold on to the dream. Though at a point I nearly stopped rapping. I am not sure I would be here if I listened to people's opinion." Today he is known as one of Africa's greatest hip hop artiste. MTV ranks him as No 6 hottest African MC in 2014. He is the first Ghanaian rapper to bring home a Bet Award. In 2013, Lynx TV pointed him out as the No 1 on their list of the top ten Ghanaian rappers of all time. Then in 2015, AfricanRanking.com, ranked him as N0 3 on their list of the top 10 African Rappers of 2015. Also that same year, Guardian named him of top five hip hop acts on the African continent.

           Sarkodie has grown to even owning his own clothesline. You see him constantly dressed in his cloth-line designs called Sark*.
